We're done!!!!!!

Grace did it! After countless trips back and forth to UTMB, two surgeries and two years worth of doctor appointments, Grace is FREE at last! She was born with several dermoid cysts layed between her nasal cavity which brought us to surgery this past March and June. So today, Grace and I went for her last post-op appointment and we are so thankful to put this all behind us. We are so thankful for the surgical team, the doctor's and nurses God put in our path that have blessed us in the security of knowing God's healing can begin. We are also so thankful for the countless number of people who have prayed for Grace from CA, ND, MO, TX, etc. THANK YOU ALL!


So this brings us to this morning, Grace and I both proudly danced out of the doctor's office, as today was the day we FINALLY got to see Cinderella's castle up close and personal! It was a bitter sweet moment as we snuck around the medical building to get up close to see IT! Mommy was so happy to be done with this whole ordeal and Grace was so happy to see 'the' castle! Throughout this whole thing, we have never said we were going to the doctor, we've always said we were going to see Cinderella's castle as that's what Grace called UTMB. So we went to the castle, took pictures, Grace danced around and enjoyed her moment. After five minutes and prompting her to leave, she started to cry when I told her I didn't see Cinderella there (it's really just a beautiful building in the middle of the center that we could see from the doctor's office). So here she is, enjoying the beautiful castle shining proudly as the little princess that she is!!
