Christmas Eve

Once all the hussle and bussle of the season was complete, Mimi and Papa were in town AND Aunt Carrie was home from Germany...THEN all was well. Christmas eve was spent in the presence of family and friends. We celebrated with our church family at our annual Family Christmas Eve service and then dinner with our family at home. The church service was so beautiful and yet so touching as I remembered a year ago awaiting the birth of our fourth child, anxious about what to expect and yet touched by what Mary must have felt all those years ago awaiting the birth of our Messiah. How blessed are we to have the presence of a King in our midst. Praise be to God for all that has been given to us.
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1:1,14
