I already lost track of time but it's been over one year since Gracie had a three hour surgery to remove several strains of dermoid cysts in her nasal cavity and nasal reconstruction. I remember coming home from the hospital and looking at her and thinking "What did we have done to her?" Well a lot has happened since March 2008...two surgeries, UTMB is hit hard by Hurricane Ike and Dr. Blackwell is let go from the hospital due to the hurricane! I am proud to say though, that our little girl looks awesome and I praise God for all the wonderful staff at UTMB who carried us through this ordeal! We miss you Dr.. Blackwelll!
