Pilot Terry Virts is also a 2nd grade parent at the kids school so when the opportunity presented itself, we decided to pack up the car and roadtrip it for the launch of STS-130 which he had been assigned to. The launch was scrubbed the first night/morning around 4 am so we went back for the 2nd attempt to watch it finally launch and it was an amazing sight to see! Only FOUR more launches of the space shuttle...
